Mr. Muz Is In Town!!

Mr. Muz is in the house lads! He was my brother's college mate when they were studying in IIUM, and now, he's in Korea! Today we went to the Children's Grand Park, a 41 minute subway ride from Gwanak-gu and helped him out in doing his case studies for his thesis. Ehem, more to distracting him from doing it than helping I guess haha. He will be here for a very short period of time, and he have some desire to get a job here in Korea if there is an opportunity. Indeed, Seoul is a very interesting city to live, especially when it comes to sightseeing, photographing the cityscape and shopping.

Yes indeed our shoe designs were similar! But they are not from the same brand though. We proceed into the park looking for stuff to discover for his thesis. There was a stream there, it was a fake one of course. Since it's summer it is a great way to get wet and cool. If I am about their size perhaps you would find a photo of me here, joining them, or should I come back at midnight so that no ones sees me?

For architects designing new structures, it is common to see them exploring other places, especially old traditional structures first before designing them. Like Ceasar Pelli taking the example of a pagoda to make the Petronas Twin Towers. Old structures represents the culture and identity of a society, thus it usually becomes the reference for newer ones.

Even though the park, is a park, it is like Disneyland, having theme park like rides and attractions. Of course it needs us to spare some green to ride it so we kept on exploring.

Since it's lunchtime, we ate at Lotteria, a Korean fast food joint and then proceeded to my campus, Seoul National University. It is called the best university in Korea so many people would want a picture of them taken there, especially at the front gate.

We headed on our respective houses after a whole day of walking around town. Well, I wish I can see his place soon! By the way, this is a picture of my 'town', Sillim.
